D/A and I were thinking about meeting for breakfast before the fun show this weekend. Anyone up for that? Anyone have any ideas of a place to meet? I think we're coming from every direction. My suggestion would be Perkins on 55 & 494, but I know that's a hike for inuhabad. I don't know the downtown area very well anymore. Sleepy717 |
I don't know HWY 55 too well, isn't that over by Plymouth? It is kind of far for me to drive over there... I guess I could just meet you guys at the show some where/time? Post more details about a meeting place, or a breakfast place here, or on the other forum. That sounds like fun to me... I hope to see you guys for breakfast sometime, but if it's a bit too far to drive, I'll at least see you guys at the funshow...

The FunShow is at the Minneapolis Convention Center, so it should be of decent size. I was thinking a 9 am breakfast at the Perkins at Hwy 394 and Louisiana (Northeast corner of intersection) in St louis Park...I THINK its a Perkins, it is across the frontage road from Menards. Oh, Inuh..you can make it to THAT one! |
IIRC it's in the Minneapolis Convention Center. It's likely not that big, it'll take up probably one of those dome rooms, and that's probably all. I'm guessing somewhere around 200-300 tables of junk, beanie babies, jerky, nachos, and rusty ole scatterguns. I'm just going to look for ammunition deals, and to hang out with the ARFcom members. We always seem to have a great time whenever we get together. Eric has a nack for putting together a fun day... -Mat |

  I'd wear BDUs too if I had some!!! HA HA HA! Naw. I don't need a ride anymore though, I got my car fixed (again). Thank god it's working reliably now! I'll see you guys at Perkins 0900 394&Louisiana!!!

| I hope to make it as well. It would be fun to meet you all. It depends on how busy my wife is(homework and such). She would be watching my son. He likes to go to the shows, but this would eat into his Sat morning cartoons(mine to but thats OK). I will have to stop and say hi to the boys at Frontiersman, my favorite gunshop! |

Sounds like an event! I MIGHT be up for an Armored Fire outing, but I really wont be able to go until Sunday afternoon/evening. I have lots to do =( DA PS...Marv at Frontiersman hates me...LOL I tried to tell him it was legal to have a folder on a pump shotgun and he got really pissed...Im sure he thought I was ATF at the time. |

Shaun, his brother Andy, and I went about 10:30 or so, just got back. Didn't see any of you guys around. I was going to buy a DPMS Tuber upper but they didn't have any. :( So instead I bought an M1 Garand. :D Shaun bought an FN 49 (was also thinking of some SIG or a sweet ass Mauser). Andy bought a Taurus 7 shot 357. Also pretty sweet. |
