Just wanted to say a belated thanks for having such a great state. Passed thru Saturday before last on our way to Savannah, stopped at a Comfort Inn in Brooks(Bullitt County) and also stopped at a Super 8 in Munfordville when we fell ill. Thanks again for the great state to drive thru and stay at.
PS-the I-65 corridor is just beautiful. I'll be back. Also my late maternal grandfather hailed from Stanford. |

Munfordville is a fantastic little area. Beautiful and they have a nice small hometown festival called Civil War days. Love that place The whole I-65 corridor from Bullitt County to Franklin looks absolutely beautiful, and I could probably spend an entire week if I had the time going to the caves and attractions. |
Stopped at a clothing store near Louisville(Okolona) for one of our rest stops.

If you ever have the time, you should check out Mammoth Cave. It is worth the trip

If you ever have the time, you should check out Mammoth Cave. It is worth the trip If we did and if they were handicapped accessible for my mom(who has degenerative knee disease) I totally would have this trip. My brother in law had some accounts in L'ville in a previous job and he absolutely loves the place so I told my sister we should come back when my nephew is old enough to go cave exploring. Shee liked the idea. |
