Here we go, the panic has hit again. Having lived through this several times before I can't get too upset. But then I always tried to be prepared. I have been quietly collecting brass, bullets, primers and powder over the past four years. Whenever I found a good price I would picked up the item. My normal mode was to have enough "supplies" to weather through until the next election cycle (four years).

Right now we are seeing the panic. Things will go crazy, the S---t will hit the fan and then things will slowly get back to "normal".  None of us know what the new normal will be but I think we can agree that the new normal will be a change.

Now, on Tuesday Shooter's Supply (Louisville)  had 1,000 rounds of 9mm for $199. They had stacks of other ammo priced well also.  Can't remember all the prices as I was not looking. They had a good supply of my favorite powders and bullets also so I was happy.

Its going to take time but this stuff will pass. The Man taped Joey Boy to head up the push. The Republicans are in no mood to compromise too much so I don't think Joey and Dianne Feinstein will get all she wants. We will have a fight on our hands. Meanwhile.....I have no worries, I am well stocked.

Get 22lr conversion kits. Cheap practice especially for drills.

Cram it, I don't need a bunch of new reloaders buying up all the primers and powder on top of the new shooters buying up the ammo!

Yes I am happy I reload but it takes the same pounding as the gun and mag market. Thankfully I have 4 years worth of everything but 9mm bullets. My goal was 10 years worth (and in some cases I have succeeded but I hate how this crap works itself out. I agree "normal" will still be different when things settle down.

I'm still using primers from the '91 scare. Ya just gotta plan these things out.
