I'm a bit behind the times here, so please forgive me.  I read that Bud sold the original Buds Gun Shop in Paris, KY a while back.  I haven't been there in quite a while, obviously, but was planning on going to the Lexington area soon and I usually swing through Paris on my way up there.  I assume the store in Paris is still open, but who owns it now?  I don't mean this as an insult to anyone, but is it still worth the trip out there to stop by?  I usually travel to Lexington on Saturdays and the fact that Bud's Police Supply is not open on Saturday's is sort of bewildering to me.  Why in the world would he choose to be closed on the biggest gun shopping day of the week for most of us folks?  I appreciate the information.

If you go in the paris shop it will look exactly the same as it did when Bud owned it, same employees and all

Bud does not own the Lex store but they will honor the internet pricing. However they may have to get the gun for you.

I am baffled at why they are not open on Sat. I guess they do not want the majority of their business to be with the general public.

Bud does own the Lexington police shop and the internet shop.  The paris store and the safes were sold off to an investment partner
