One of my best friends just came back from a week in Nashville with his family.
He was telling me he went by and saw one of his old buddies that owns a gun store and also got a chance to hit an RK produced show in Smyrna (outside Nashville).

He said his buddies store was well stocked and complete with most ammunition types and lots of black rifles and all kinds of pistol goodies. Prices weren't the best but at least their was selection. Even saw 2 FN SCAR rifles, amazing.

He hit the gun show saturday and was telling me about the ammo deals. Sounded like the gun deals weren't too bad from some places (one guy was said to be selling Doublestar rifles for around $860)
He talked about these Remington yellow box bulk ammo deals he saw and I have never seen them. He said ammo was in abundance there though and brought me back some INDEPENDENCE (made by CCI) brand 9mm he got for 11.95 a box (brass/fmj).  The bulk remington yellow box was like 70 bucks for 250 rounds of 9mm and 100 for 200 rounds of .223.  Numerous boxes of winchester white 100ct boxes were for $30 (.45 cal).  He saw bulk Russian brown bear and silver bear 7.62 x 39 for $169 for 500 rounds.

He was trying to find me a box of .380 but the only boxes were $25 for a box of Aguila stuff.

I was also told he had reliable info that BUD of Buds in Paris, had sold his store there to one of his investors but kept his mail order business and that he was a partner in the one in Lexington. He said his gun store buddy was close friends with Bud and knew this for a fact.  I was surprised to hear this but maybe someone hear had mentioned it before.  I didn't make it to the last gun show in Lexington but Bud was probably there so not sure of how this is all shaking out ownership wise and who is actually going to the shows.
