| I used to go to the creek all the time. I would camp there for the whole weekend. both in april and october. hung with subguns.com crowd. I also used to be an FFL/sot I guess that is what burned me out on guns? I used to run informal 3 gun matches for the greenriver gun club. It was cool and they have some good people. I will probably rejoin soon and see how much it has changed ? I think I was like the 63 member when it started? then they swalled to almost 350.. Hopefully I can meet some of you guys sometime? |
| Hey man how the hell are ya, It has been a long time since the shoots at Greenriver. From the description I know this has to be you. I bought the Beretta 92 centurion from you. I have been away a while myself but am back in Nashville now and usually try to make it to all of the 3 gun matches at Greenriver. Still a small group there that comes to the shoot alot of new faces since we were last there but some of the same, still just there to shoot and have fun, you need to come by next match they have. Anyway I am going to shoot you an email with my email address I would like to catch up on what you've been up to. |
hey Duck, so GRGC is still having 3 gun matches? who is running them? also. when do they have them? I hope to rejoin the club in Feb. and would like to try one of thier matches. Do they still have the bowling pin matches. I remember them starting to get scarce on participation, and they were thinking of not having them anymore. I have been out of the club for a couple of years now, starting to miss it

They still have bowling pin matches but it is hard for me to make it to those from Nashville James Haydon is running them.
Bo Greene is helping out with the 3 gun matches usually have a decent turn out 20+ people. They haven't posted the 2009 schedule yet but last year they didn't have there first match until April. The last match I made it to last year was the July match and they were trying to get a vote in so that they could build a lower range for the mathces so that on match day they didn't have to close the range but I don't know what ever came of that. I think there is still some animosity between that group and the trap shooters, I think you probably know who I am speaking of. Anyway would love to get together sometime and good to hear from you. |
