Hi Folks,

We are going to make a trip through your state and thought we would stop in at Mammoth Cave.  We'll be traveling down I 71 from Cincinnati anything else that we should see?  Anything/anyplace to avoid?

Thanks in advance.

If you are into baseball, stop and see the "Louisville Slugger Museum", Churchill Downs and the "Frazier Historical Arms Museum" which is also in downtown Louisville.

If you are comming through in the month of July, I-64 along the river will be closed for the entire month of July, but they have good detour signs and your route from Cinci shouldn't be affected.

You could also stop by Knob Creek, but that would be a bit out of they way.

Hope that helps, I'll try to think of some more palces, but have a safe and fun trip anyway.

stop at the Patton Museum at Ft Knox, its off of I-65 or dixie highway depending on which way you go. It is a must see, the tanks actually run.

as far as the rest of the trip the only other gun stuff is Knob Creek Range off of 65 and kyimports in Louisville (off of 265) but kyimports is kind of disapointing and they dont sell guns anymore just accesories and ammo.

I did not know that about ky imports.  I ordered my first Glock through them.  My ffl did at least he just ordered what I requested.
I've been to the Patton museum a few times.  My brother was stationed there for a year.  It's awesome.  I've even been there on the fourth of July and watched the WWII reinactors.
Knob Creek is sweet, but I've only gone to one shoot so I should come back down in the fall.
Thanks for the suggestions
