Me and my oldest son have been sick since Friday, ER visit Saturday night (he had croup) and my youngest has a fever this morning. Mom is the only one who isn't sick and is home with us taking care of the kids. I took a dose of nyquil about 30mims ago and I'm waiting to go back to bed....first snowfall and non of us can enjoy it

It is nice too look at though, hopefully its a good indication for what this winter will bring

Eta: just looked out the window and kids are just getting to the bus stop, we don't even have a dusting here and they delayed school

Snow is super dangerous. I don't know how any of us got to school back in the 70's and 80's with such danger covering our roads and sidewalks. I cant believe none of us were killed or maimed by the evil white stuff from the sky.

Had to remove an 800 pound boiler on a hand truck, from a basement, around the house, through the snow, bring the new one around the same way.....mud and snow.....awesome day.

At least tomorrow will be nice and dry, with no remnants of today's snow.

The manual labor portion was the easy part and is what most of my fall-spring days consist of......it was the 1" of snow on a yard that consisted of dirt that hasn't frozen yet that sucked
