When I get back from AT we'll get something planned. Should have my Skorpion Carbine in by then too.

I was retired by the time the new AWB passed.  If I had timed it better, I would have stayed in a couple more years, and used all my E-9 pay to buy hardware!

Join the Governor's' Foot Guard. Buy all the toys you want, then quit and register them. This will make you smile knowing you are not protecting the Governor buy using his law to buy hardware he doesn't want you to have.

While the concept is great, the negatives out way the positives for the following reasons:

The GFG is just way too far up state for me to be involved in.  I actually used to belong to an USAR unit in West Hartford for 3 years.  It was a royal pain in the ass to get up there two Tuesday nights and one Sunday a month.  At least the Army paid me!  Now, the GHG is just over in Newtown, 2 towns away.  But, my wife has two horses in the backyard, and I have no desire to get involved in any equestrian activity (I hate the fucking things).

Speaking of pay, the next issue is:  a SGM makes pretty good money, and that is the money I would have used for hardware.  Membership in the foot or horse guards COSTS money.  Since I am broke, being eligible to buy, but unable to afford all those toys, would be worse then just being prohibited!

And lastly, it is the GOVENOR's foot guard.  That means you serve at the pleasure of Malloy.  FDM!

Serving the Governor is the negative but the ironic part is you would be using your GFG service to buy stuff Danny boy doesn't think you should own.

The official food of the GFG is pizza and you don't like it nor do you eat it properly.
