Bike broke down the other night. It is a 2000 Suzuki VZ800 (Marauder) Driving home from work at night and it started running very rough. Stumbling, coughing, lean condition popping. I was very close to home but didn't make it. The electrical started cutting out, in and out. Then the electrical went out completely. I would love to tackle this on my own, and I think I could but I have NO time to tear into this and it would take me a long time. My wife asked me to try to have a mechanic fix it so we can get out and ride and not miss the summer weather.
So if anyone has a recommendation on a reliable mechanic please let me know, the downfall is a lot of guys don't know what the heck they are doing if it's not a Harley. So they have to know how to work on metric bikes. Thanks! -Mike

For anyone else paying attention to the original post, if you are or know of a good motorcycle mechanic please let me know. It seems this search is like finding a gunsmith you trust to work on your ONLY gun and not fuck it up. |
