Phil was a great friend to many, a fellow Enfield High graduate, a badass and an eternal hero. Ill never forget the far too few memories we shared, and Ill never forget the feeling I had when your face flashed on the news. As saddened as I was to hear you left us, I am equally as proud, today, to know your name will be forever engrained in our nations history.
Its hard to believe its been 8 years . . . Thank you for your service and your friendship, Phil. You are missed, greatly, by many (many, many, many). It should be a great time for any interested in going. A LOT of great and fun people will be there, it promises to be a great time. I, unfortunately, will not be able to make it this year - as my brothers wedding is Saturday and he leaves for his deployment to Japan a few short days after. I just thought I'd take a moment to spread the awareness, and maybe prompt some of you to join me in donating to worthy causes. I know many of you, like me, have been focusing our available funds on the CCDL, but lets not forget about the Wounded Warrior Project, Homes for Our Troops, Intrepid Fallen Heros Fund, Semper Fi Fund, Operation Homefront, Iraq & Afghanistan Veterans of America, and the like. If any of you would like to join me in making a small donation in Phils honor and memory to a relevant charity of your choosing, that would be fantastic. I am a monthly contributor to the WWP, but tonight I will be going with the Semper Fi Fund and Iraq & Afghanistan Veterans of America, in honor of Phil. Thanks for reading.
