Half as many people would rally for freedom as they do for a basketball game. Having a Facebook account can be a wonderful tool sometimes... But around big game playoffs, I tend to want to rub the skin off my face out of the sheer frustration that SO many of the people on my friend's list who rarely ever post anything on Facebook, all suddenly come out of the woodwork, posting how angered they are at how a play went sour or a bad call from an umpire or how lousy their team played. And I can't keep my mouth shut. I don't attack them directly, but I usually make a blanket statement about the lack of priorities people have in this country and how it's non one's fault but their own, as America slides smoothly into a downward spiral, as they gleefully stand in the sidelines, with their heads in the sand. I've lost a lot of friends in the last five years. |
