There was a thread a few months ago here regarding AR pistols and how the new laws affect them. I believe weight is no longer an issue but would like some clarification. If anyone thinks this info I'm requesting can be used against us (public forum) then inbox would be cool as well. I did try to search for it and had no luck.

A semi-auto AR pistol is now an assault weapon.
If you have an AW Certificate of Possession for a registered virgin lower then go ahead and build it into an AR pistol. Keep in mind you will not be able to transport it loaded, and you will not be able to carry it anywhere except to/from the permissible locations. |

I think I might assemble this lower this weekend ....supposedly I'll be able to put a stock on it in September(I just went pending on Jan 7th for this lower).
I was just told its currently 2 months from check cashing to pending and 9 months from pending to receiving stamp. My wife shooting the same upper on a sbr'd lower....this is her favorite rifle now.....sort of why I had to sbr another lower
