What is your budget, do you typically charge the weapon one handed, and would an ambi one be useful to you?

I'm saying try a badger latch. Its big and smooth with no ridges that eat your fapping fingers up.

So much innuendo, so little time.

I have a medium size latch BCM Gunfighter in both my ARs.

I've tried the ambidextrous BCM on a friends AR, during target practice and it's really nice. It just feels more natural to me, to grab the opposite side.

I use a PRI Gas Buster charging handle.  I noticed that when using my .22 LR adapter, hot gasses and burned powder particles were spouting up from the gap between the lower and upper receivers and right into my face. This is because when firing .556 most of that crap goes down the barrel and into the gas tube while in a .22 LR it all stays in the receiver to push the bolt back in a blowback operation.   These handles are designed to shield the escaping gasses from the receiver gap (plus the gas coming down the gas tube) and vent them off to the side.  I don't want to sound like a commercial for PRI but they work extremely well.

In case anyone cares....

Anyone not owning one should buy this

Everything else is a flimsy piece of shit in comparison

Agreed. Never thought there could be such a big difference in something as simple as a charging handle until I bought a BCM. Now they're in all my guns.
