Some places don't want to deal with the hassle of CT laws. You need a license / permit to buy mags now. ETA. Need an Ammo permit, pistol permit or a longarm permit to get ammo or any mags now in CT. You forgot the permit to sell at retail pistol/revolver, along with active duty law enforcement who only have to show their badge and official police photo ID. |

Which can't be issued/ retained unless an individual possesses a permit to carry, or an eligibility certificate to purchase pistols/ revolvers. (I guess that an individual without a permit/ certificate acting in a capacity on behalf of a company issued such a retail sale permit, based on the permit/certificate status of the owner, may need to utilize that exemption in the course of their duties) |

I know Midway asked for a copy of my pistol permit back in September. The email said if I plan to order magazines or ammo I needed to provide them with a copy of my permit. I have not ordered ammo or magazines yet from Midway.
AIM surplus just sent my a crate of ammo. I scanned and upload my permit to them. No hassles. The other option is to buy it locally. If you do not have a permit, ammo or long gun cert you are screwed until you get one. |

I know that it does. It's just one of those things where you have to ask yourself why...actually, since it's the Connecticut legislature we're talking about, you really don't. |
