Has Mossberg mentioned anything about moving out of CT?
Looking to pick rifles for the fall sportman's raffle and we are trying not have manufactures in CT or NY... |

I think the only one's we'll see leave are Stag and PTR at this point. I think the rest are all just talking trying to appease the gun owners who would otherwise boycott them. They are counting on the short public memory for this to blow over. I hope I'm wrong though, I hope they all get out. |

I would not boycott Mossberg. You have not been keeping up with their responces to Malloy. this. don't be like GD'ers. I fought them hard over that crap because I sat there watching Mossberg fight for us. This. They did't abandon us. They are not happy about the current state of affairs in CT. |

I avoid GD so I'm actually surprised to hear anyone would boycott them. After the 30+ minute debate their VP had with the state reps at the public hearing I can't imagine why anyone would be against them. They're clearly on our side and very pissed about all of this. Their testimony actually made me decide my next shotgun needs to be a Mossberg. They can leave CT, I wouldn't blame them. In fact, I would encourage it. |

To be clear, I never said they abandoned us, I just said that I doubt they will leave, which I stand by. I've met their VP a few times at work functions and he's a great guy, and I wish Mossberg and their hideously ugly firearms all the luck in the world. That said, when I finally get around to buying a lever gun, I'll be picking up one of their wood stocked guns, a buddy has one of their 30-30's and it's awesome.
