Slightly bumping this thread as I need to find a gunsmith who can fit a handspring to my old colt revolver. Anyone in the NH or MA area is fine.

Skip at Skips Gun Shop in Laconia is well worth the drive. He has been smithing for decades... Been to all the schools. He did some trigger work on my rifles and they break like glass, are consistent, and never had an issue.

Has anyone ever heard of Ed Landers?

I was referred to him by two very experienced shooters. He sounds like he's very old and may not have been able to hear what type of gun/work I need done, but I am thinking about driving out to see him since it seems he has something like 50+ years of gunsmithing under his belt.

Middle of nowhere in Alexandria. Looking on google earth it looks like its only dirt roads to his shop too.

Paul at Stateline (mason) said he can do the work I need done, so I may try there first.

Yep. I had Ed do a little work for me and a buddy has used him a couple of times. He is really inexpensive. Never had a problem and the work was well done (nothing fancy needed). It did seem like he was about 100 years old though.
