To every active , Reader, Lurker, Gun Owner-- have YOU mobilized?

1. Have you written/called your state AND federal congressmen? Do it repeatedly, because you can bet your opposition is calling frequently!
2. Have you given your friends the phone number for your Senator and Representative?
3. Have you posted the Congressional phone numbers down at the gun store, where the most interested constituents could call on their cell phone?
4. Does your local Pistol/Rifle clubs website have the Congressional contact info posted?
5. Have you taken flyers with Congressional contact info to every vendor at the gun show for him to take home and post in his own hometown gun store?

There are 280 million gun owners. If HALF of them have guts, our Senator and Reps will know what their constituents expect and demand!

And we should not settle for what anti-gun bill we can stop! Demand Pro-Gun bills like H.R 35, to repeal the "gun-free school zones act." In fact, demand your senator outlaw all restrictive gun laws! Put the anti-gun crowd on the Defense!

Call your Congressman right now! http://www.contactingthecongress.org/ (Click on your state!)

May God Bless you all in the times ahead, and give you strength.

I've been sending emails out like crazy.  Not the typical spam emails, but my own personal emails.  I've started making calls to my state reps as more an more bills start popping up.

I'm all over my supportive coworkers and friends.  It told them as the bills come up, I'll provide them the bill number to call/email on.  I even went after the gun owner UPS man because he feels there is nothing he can do.

My last message to Chris Murphy this morning after watching his fox61 interview.

I have meet the bogeyman.  He is you.  He is your colleagues.

I just watched your Fox61 interview and it scares me.  Not because you want to increase background checks or increase mental health resources.

No, I'm scared because you don't understand.  I'm a gun owner and I see the need for my AR15 and standard capacity magazines.   Being an Army Veteran, I understand.

My first rifle was an AR15 because I went with what I know.  I use my AR15 for home defense.  I keep two standard capacity magazines with it.  If I'm in a fight for my life, I'm going to use as much force as I can bring to bear.  Same goes when I'm out and about.  I'm carrying my pistol and spare standard capacity magazine to defend myself.

I know Violences strikes without warning. I know life doesn't imitate art.  One shot doesn't always equal one kill.  I'm going to use tools that guarantee I survive an attack.  I use my education, training and preparedness to protect myself.

Just one simple example on how many rounds it takes to stop an assailant.  You have a woman put 5 out of 6 rds into her attacker.  Her family escaped, but the attacker was still in the fight.  This time, the attacker fled.  The other side of the coin, this could have been another Dr Petit scenario.  Low capacity magazines only endanger lives.

When it comes to people hunting with AR15s.  Well, alot of people do it.  The AR15 is 50yrs old.  It has long passed its original design.  The AR15 can be chambered in alot of different calibers.  In calibers used to hunt small game, coyotes, wild boar to deer.  I meet hunters that use AR15s hunting all the time.

Yes, I joined the NRA.  I joined the minute they made it clear they wouldn't roll over on its members.  I joined because they are one of the few organizations standing up for my rights.  I'm willing to sacrifice my support for better/more background checks in the name of protecting my right to semi auto rifles and standard capacity magazines.

The real threat is in your words, "assault style weapons".  Your definition not only applies to AR15s, but all semi auto rifles.

I ask you as a person to do your own homework.  Take the time to educate yourself.  You will quickly learn why people oppose restrictions in standard capacity magazines and "assault style weapons".

I'm not just fighting for my rights,  I'm fighting for the rights of the next generation.
