| Looking for a good lawyer to set up a trust. Im located in central CT, im not looking to spend 600 + on it though. could someone here reccomend anyone that has a reasonable price. Thanks. |

I paid $750 for mine through Jeff Crown (http://www.ctgunlawyer.com). Although you might not think it's reasonable (per your post above), I did. Jeff knows his stuff and the trust he created for me was worth every penny.
You can take your chances with a lawyer who says they can do an NFA trust (I did that the first time), but you'll likely find they don't know all of the nuances and specifics of NFA law. The end result of that may be a trust that doesn't do what you want it to do when you're gone. |

By all means shop around and talk to attorney's that is what I did ,but please do not make your #1 criteria price. |
| i know Jeff is one of the best out there, but im only 23 and dont have as much cash as id like to. i could just go the individual route and not use a trust. but i see many NFA items in my future. so it just seem right to have the trust set up now instead of paying another 200 for each tax stamp down the road. i have an email sent out to Jeff now just asking some questions. and was just looking to see who everyone else reccomends. i know i dont want to be cheap on this as it could land me in club fed. thanks for your input. |

Trust or not, you still have to pay $200 for each tax stamp. |

I would suggest you wait save your cash get the trust done right.
The wait times on NFA form1's and form4's are at a min of 5 months, consider it an exercise in patience. There is a law firm in Derby/Ansonia area that does NFA trusts, their name escapes me though.I do not know what they charge but I am sure it falls in between Delta Arsenal(500) and Jeff Crown(750).I have not heard of a lawyer doing a NFA trust for less than 600 till the poster above said Delta did his for 500. |

The firm in Derby your thinking about is Jalowiec & Zeck last I heard they charged 500. |
| I was looking into this at one point, I got a call back from a lawyer who listed "firearms" as a practice area, he asked me what an NFA trust was after informing me that a trust and a corporation were two different things and he needed more facts before he could decide what I needed. "Thank you for your time but never mind." |

You should probably look for an attorney that actually says they do NFA trusts and not one that says that firearms are a area of practice If you are serious about an NFA trust start here. NFA GUN TRUSTS I believe it was an attorney that advertised their services on a gun forum/blog, so I was somewhat surprised. The uncertainty of my living situation, switching residences and such, makes the whole process kind of a waste for me at this point. Maybe in a few years. |

I've heard good things about Jeff Crown but I was looking a bit closer to home.
I decided to go with Mark Zeck from The Law Offices of Jalowiec & Zeck.. [email protected] www.jalowieczeck.com |

Quicken works, too, and it is $30 |
