Just a curiosity question.

Is there any really good stores / places to look at, fondle, and purchase knives / blades? I know Cabela's has a decent selection, and the Swiss Army Store / Victorinox store in the West Farms Mall has a good selection.

Is there anyplace else I am overlooking? Hoffmans has a few nice knives as well, but seem to have a rather small selection.

BTW, I am talking fighting / utility blades, not like Kitchen Cutlery.

Thanks

Hoffman's has some, same for Cubetta's...there's a place in RI near the line that had high end autos, etc Cove Cutlery on rt1/216 heading towards Charlestown.

Cubeta's doesn't exist anymore.

Army Barracks (accross from Hoffmans) has a lot cheap knives, I don't recall seeing much high end stuff in there. Military Specialties has some knives in their store, or did last ime I was there, but they too mostly had cheaper imports (though there may have been a couple of Ontario machetes and Kabars mixed in).

There are a few dedicated knife shows each year in CT. I haven't been to one in years, though.
