| I know there is a training section but this is easier to get to people from my area. Any one know of any decent pistol and or rifle training courses around the NH area? Id like to get more proficient with my AR and my Pistol. |

I highly recommend a course with Bruce Gray. He's coming to Deerfield, MA in May. No carbine this course, but there will be plenty of pistol and a day of shotgun, too.
Bruce Gray, Deerfield, MA If you are LE, military or security, here is a Colt tactical pistol and carbine course just announced today in Southwick, MA: Colt Defense Tactical Pistol and Carbine Course, Southwick, MA There is also a class beginning to be planned now with Jerry Jones in August for Deerfield, MA. It will be a Tactical Pistol and Carbine Course. I'll post as soon as the dates are set in stone and we have club approval. |

Check out www.neshooters.com for training at Pelham by some of the best trainers in the US/Internationally known. They bring in some top notch "traveling trainers". There is a Summit with a bunch of these trainers over a single weekend coming up in a week or two. I've taken some of these courses and am friends with those that run them, but have no business interest in their activities. |

It is illegal for you to bring any guns/ammo into MA . . . unless it is to a "competition". Some trainers have issued a "competition letter" to NRs and run a brief competition at the end of their class to make it all nice and legal.

You've got this place in your back yard and it's well worth it. Last year I took four classes there and plan on taking more this year. |

By the time I make my AR ban-compliant, and obtain enough reliable pre-ban mags to run a course, I've spent enough to take a completely different course at Sig Sauer. |

You are taking chances in Massachusetts even if your gun complies, you get the wrong police officers and what you have is a good defense and legal fees. Get your camo or tactical clothing on, get in an auto accident and respond to a question about where you are going and the next question will be about weapons in the car. See where that takes you. Sig has a nice facility and my experience with the instructors is that they are competent, enjoy their work and make the experience a good time. |

NES is hosting some bona fide tip-of-the-spear tier one guys ... in NH. Just to resolve some natural confusion. NES = www.northeastshooters.com a regional forum with tons of good (and some bad) legal info on local gun laws. NEShooters = www.neshooters.com a couple of guys running a training website where they bring pros to the New England region. The two are not related, other than NEShooters advertises on NES. |
