Does anyone know if Highrock is open during winter (Road plowed ) range officers on duty. Also anyone been to the indoor range in Torrington ?? The website says rifles ok under 3600fps. just getting the rifle itch.

Yep... we are open up at High Rock all year round. There has only been a handful of days in the past couple years that we were closed.

though dont think it'll be plowed if it just snowed... i got stuck and a range officer had to two me out because i couldn't get outta the parking lot in the crown vic...

Shot my FAL at the Torrington range a few times.  Was nice,  open till 9pm,  Hit it after work.  Better than a bar.

they got a website `ya know

Sat: 9a.m. till 1/2hour before sundown

Sun: 12p.m. till 1/2 hour before sundown except cowboy sundays


Best bet is to get there early.

Great range, great people.  Better than Wolf's, way better than Hoffman's.  Friday night is date night under the range lights.

i went to the torrington indoor range friday and saturday.... awesome.  now that i know where that place is i am going to have no money and no ammo.
