Are Post Ban versions of the RPK legal in CT if its in 7.62x39?
I am assuming No because the close compatibility with the evil AK-47. |

Quoted: Are Post Ban versions of the RPK legal in CT if its in 7.62x39? I am assuming No because the close compatibility with the evil AK-47. From what I've been told, NO-GO in CT. (I have 2 and asked if they were okay to bring to CT before I moved here.) If it makes you feel any better, you're not missing much. They're basically just long barreled HBAR AKs with heavier receivers. With the heavy barrel, the balance is awful and they only really can be shot off of a bipod. Without "the happy switch" it's just not as enjoyable. A lot more expensive, but more fun is the RPD and I don't think they'd be illegal in CT. |
| About a year ago I walked into one of my local gun shops and asked if they could order me a semi auto RPD, and they told me in the state of CT. the only RPDs they can sell are full auto and not the semi auto versions. I THOUGHT THIS SOUNDED STUPID. Now I find this thread and Jojo's gun shop has one, and I'm assuming it's semi auto. MEDIC 17 do you happen to know how much Jojo's is selling it for. |
