Quoted: Quoted: I was at the Wallingford Walmart yesterday and the shelves have been bare about a month now. Still!!...I was there last Friday, bare bone then...sad Same over here at the Hamden Walmart. The department manager saw me this morning and gave me the update... no new arrivals at all this week. Cabela's seems to have been restocked with most ammunition. They had lots of .22LR bulk ammunition and it's the only place I've seen .45ACP ammunition anywhere for months. Absolutely ZERO 9mm ammunition though. |
A word to the wise on Wally World's .223 "value" packs. I just picked up some .223 in NH. They had the 50 round value packs for $25.97, but the 20 round boxes for $9.47. Same exact round.
I pointed it out to the clerk and he said that you pay for the convenience of having it all come in one box.

In my travels looking for Hershey's chocolate covered marshmallow eggs, I found that the Wallingford Walmart apparently got an ammo shipment today, though a lot of it was heavily picked through before I got there. As of 8:30pm there were still a good number of WWB packs of .40s&w on the shelf... allegedly there were several cases earlier in the day. Lots of 7.62x39, lots of WWB .357sig and lots of 12ga value packs. I was told that they got zero 9mm, .45acp, 223rem, or .22lr ammunition. Hopefully this info helps someone looking for .40s&w. |
