I have a customer in MASS wanting an AK. It is currently configured with a bayonet lug, a removable slant break, a pistol grip, a fixed buttstock, 30-rnd magazine. Built on a Nodak-spud receiver by Lancaster. What do I need to do to make this thing MASS compliant for shipping? Where can I read a MASS gun law primer? Thanks in advance! |

To posses mags in MA over 10 rounds, the person must have an LTC A (License to Carry class A) or a B license that states high capacity. Mags over 10 rounds must be "pre-ban". Here is the laws pertaining to so called "assault weapons"..have fun. The bottom line is this: The burden is on him posessing the mags, not you selling them to him,it's the buyers responsibility to know the laws..same with the rifle..he could have a dealer with a firearm repair license(can't remember the exact ATFE classification) that will "fix" the AK before transferring it to him. |
