I have a customer in MASS wanting an AK.  It is currently configured with a bayonet lug, a removable slant break, a pistol grip, a fixed buttstock, 30-rnd magazine.

Built on a Nodak-spud receiver by Lancaster.

What do I need to do to make this thing MASS compliant for shipping?

Where can I read a MASS gun law primer?

Thanks in advance!

Weld the break on and shave off the lug.

Our AWB mirrors the 94-04 ban.

To posses mags in MA over 10 rounds, the person must have an LTC A (License to Carry class A) or a B license that states high capacity.

Mags over 10 rounds must be "pre-ban".

Here is the laws pertaining to so called "assault weapons"..have fun.

The bottom line is this:

The burden is on him posessing the mags, not you selling them to him,it's the buyers responsibility to know the laws..same with the rifle..he could have a dealer with a firearm repair license(can't remember the exact ATFE classification) that will "fix" the AK before transferring it to him.

The best person to ask is the FFL in Mass you are shipping it to. He is the one that is going to get burned if it's not legal.
