| Does anyone know where i can purchase a GSG-5 around New England? i called a couple places but they say we'll call you back but never do. I want one of these so my wife could shoot. |
Called Hoffmans and i talked to some guy who was asking me what manufacture was and depending on warehouse and if hoffmans buys from then and so on...or whatever. I usually deal with Randy at hoffmans but he was not there. whatever . Im gonna call D&L shooting supply and see if i can buy and transfer it from RI to CT.

I'm pretty sure that they are - do they sell on GunBroker as "BETHANYFA"? If so, when the GSG-5's first hit the market, they supposedly contacted the CT State Police and talked to them about whether the rifle was actually a rifle or not because it arrives packaged with the stock separate from the rifle. Because of this, they decided that it was not legal in Connecticut and would only sell them to non-CT residents. |
I don't do business with delers who have such a loose grasp on gun laws. |

I got mine 2 weeks ago from Chris @ Bethany Firearms. I took it to the range last weekend and loved it. Now I have many mags, EOTech 511 and scope mount for it. They are a bit tricky to find...easier buying it out of state and getting it transferred to your local FFL. I am planning on buying a group of them this way. |

At my club today a friend showed up with one he had bought at Bethany and he mentioned the shop owner being unsure about the CT Legality (At some point in the past) Apparently that issue is all straightened out and good to go. Hey,I don't blame the guy for trying to protect his license and business(and his customers also) A whole bunch of us lined up to shoot it and although I was mostly pleased I would like to see a better trigger if possible. |

Here is a little tease for you guys to get your own GSG5's.. GSG5 Rapidfire And yes, I pull the trigger that fast. |
