Hello all, I live about 15 min from the Vermont border ( Fair Haven) and I was curious if anyone could point me in the right direction towards a decent gun shop somewhat close to the border, that possibly has AK type rifles for sale. |

I'm in Bristol, my father is an FFL in Panton. We don't carry any at his shop at this time. Sadly, the best place to go in VT is the Powderhorn in Williston, the intersection of US 2 and VT 2A. A ways to go, but he'll probably have what you want. I see you're in NY. Since your AWB didn't sunset, and ours (the Fed '94 AWB) did, you should check before you buy to make sure you are compliant in your state. |
| +1 for Powderhorn. they usually have a good supply of AK's in stock. i was in there just yesterday and they have i believe an Arsenal AK upstairs, and then downstairs in the main area behind the counter (your allowed behind the counter to look at the guns against the wall) they had at least 2-3 Century Yugo UF's and at least 3 other AK's down there. and they are really cool guys so that just makes it all the better. |
