Are AK slant brakes legal in MA if they are permanently attached? Anyone have a source?

no muzzle brakes are illegal in ma. i know because when i had to come back here for a while.

WRONG!

Muzzle brakes are legal, flash suppresors are not. The AKM slant brake is legal as long as it is permanently attached to the 14mm threaded barrel.

A 22mm AK74 brake is legal because they dont make flash suppresors in 22mm but the Bulgy 24mm must be permanently attached in order for it to be legally on a rifle.

I have all 3 on rifles and are all MASS compliant.

again, the brake is legal, a suppresor isnt (at least on a post ban rifle)

The MGL's specifically list what is illegal which are"

bayo lugs
Flash hiders
Folding stocks

The laws make no mention to muzzle brakes hence it is safe to own in Mass.
