Hey guys,
I want to rebarrel my 16 inch flat top upper with a 20inch barrel. I will be able to afford a new barrel but not a whole upper at the moment. My problem is that I don't have the tools I need to rebarrel it. I was hoping there is someone in the Fairfield County area with a barrel wrench and action block who would be willing to help me out. I planned on building a whole new rifle, and still do but I am just finishing up school and haven't yet started working again and have a few debt to pay off so it's either wait till late june till I can build the rifle I want or rebarrel now and get the rifle I want now then I can build a new one later. Can anyone help me? Also if anyone has any good deals on 20inch barrels, preferably pre ban so I can put a Cav comp onto it I would be greatly appreciative. Thanks alot

Steve

I have the tools you need and have done a few barrel jobs on my own rifles and a few others.  Shoot me an IM.

Thanks alot guys, I still need to decide which way to go with this rifle. I am liking the idea of rebarreling though so I may just do that. If I do go that way I will let you guys know, I am suddenly getting scond thoughts on how to spend my money.. I'll keep you guys updated.
