Does anyone know of private gun clubs in CT , preferably in New Haven County that are excepting memberships. I would like one with  High power rifle, pistol, and shotgun ranges.

I belong to Hamden Fish and Game. It's got Trap, skeet, sport, Rifle/pistol, Archery, stocked fishing, and partnerships with Hunting preserves in CT.

It's a great club if your looking for shotgun sports. The rifle/pistol range is in bad need of repair but all the members are a bit old and uptight. They aren't too concerned with the rilfe/pistol range. Some of the guys do IDPA durring the summer after work.

You can't be it for $100 a year + 10 hours of service.

if you wnat to shoot high power, go check out bell city in southington. I've never shot there, but have heard good things from friends. I shoot high power at the East Windsor Sportsmans, but that's a haul. You're more than welcome to come up and shoot a match with us though.

Hamden Fish and Game

Can you shoot trap and skeet 7 days and what is the initial cost?

I'm not sure about the 7 Days. I work during the day so I haven't been there to see if they are running it or not. I don't see why not though, with membership you get your own key to come and go as you please so you basically have the run of the place.

I know there are leagues during the weekdays, and the shotgun courses are always going all day Saturday and until 2pm Sundays.

The initiation fee is 300 + NRA membership and as I just found out "sponsorship". The following years are 100 +10hrs work time or 300. The 10 hours is a joke though, you get that done in 2 weeks.

There are all sorts of ham shoots and Kids days and picnics. Its a great little community if you manage to get in the "crowd"

I'm not one for cliques so I don't get involved.

Their initial fee is what gets ya, but after that, yearly dues you can't beat.
