Does anyone own a Colt M4 Match target?  If so what are your thoughts on it?

I do. DUE to CT with the AWB still in effect, it was the only Colt we can easily find. I wanted my first AR to be a COLT.  Now I also have my pre-ban EA.
The colt has been reliable and accurate. The fit and finish is also decent. I had a RRA trigger installed, and a Muzzle Brak - compensator that resembles a A-2 Birdcage.

Is the Match pretty much the same as the AR-15 model?  With the exception of the the assault weapon features?   Meaning add-ons, finish etc?

If you dont mind me asking how much did you pay for it and did you buy it from a dealer in CT?

As far as I know, its basically a Ar-15, minus the Evil features and the different name.

I bought mine through Josephs in New Brittain, and he did the Comp and trigger work. The rifle itself was around $1000, dont remember exact price, Selective memory . Almost all the Dealers had sinilar prices, and there seems to be a lot of demand for the colts.

BTW, ive been told by some dealers that rifles without evil features are becoming TOUGH to get, since most manufacturers are making mostly No-Ban rifles . We are in a minority market mow.

Doesn't this suck! We live that the M4/AR-15 is made by Colt and we can't get the gun the way it should be.
