Anyone know if there is going to be any Gun Shows in Vermont this year?

Or anywhere else? If there is one, it would be much appreciated if those familiar with the show would comment on the quality, selection, etc.  I'm definitely feeling gun show deprived.

Hey, thanks, lasertech. Seems like the next show anywhere close to me is Concord NH.
Do you know what that show is like--size, quality of merchandise, selection of vendors, etc??
I have a few AR things to sell (can't sell guns out of state, of course) and a bunch of accessory stuff for other guns.
Would this be a good show to do that?

Anyone?

I've been to the Concord show in 2000 and 2003 (around Labor Day each time). It is at the Edward Everett arena, ~1/2 mile from the Interstate (I-93 IIRC). About 150 tables, most everything is gun related and it is a decent show for the size.

I can't see you selling anything at the show except guns if you mean "walking around" (you can always sell a gun to an FFL in any state). If you mean to rent a table, sure you can sell any non-firearms if they will rent to you (I'm just unsure if promoter will rent to non-FFLs).

Nowhere near as big as the Springfield or Marlboro MA shows, but they can sell anything up in NH (not that you or I can buy it) so it is a more interesting show in some ways.

Best source I know is Gun List. Maybe Shotgun News but I haven't read it for some time.  There aren't many shows though.

From what I can tell there aren't many gun shows in MA, NH, VT, ME.

DiPrete seems to run all the ones in "North Country", but they are very small shows (125 tables or less typically). They run a website that was previously posted, so you can get dates/locations easily.

Carole (from NY) runs a lot of NY, MA, CT shows that are fair sized (300-700 tables, even thou they always advertise the W. Springfield MA shows as 600-900 tables-I've never seen more than perhaps 600 tables there). They operate under a couple of different names, but she doesn't believe in Email, the web or any of that new-fangled stuff. SOMETIMES they advertise in SGN or GL (but info isn't always reliable). My personal experience with calling her is that most of the time she doesn't return the phone calls. They do put out their fliers at each show, so you have a TENTATIVE schedule (always subject to change) to work from. Some of the locations that they use in MA ("Big E" and Marlboro) publish their own schedule of events on the web, so you can cross correlate the show dates.

NRA runs a webpage of gun shows but it doesn't appear that any promoters in this part of the US post their dates there.

The next one I have noted:
Marlboro, MA
Best Western Royal Plaza Trade Center, 1 mile off Rt. 495.
500 table capacity.
Sept. 25-26, 9-5, 9-3
(NewMart Promotions)

The ones I've been to there are not bad, for MA shows.
The Big E is just a bit far for me (I think that one is in October).
I've enjoyed the Big E shows also in the past.

Barre is usually very good, but it's in Feb.  Weekend after the superbowl each year.
