Can we start a list of ranges, address, for all the folks? We have a range near here (Berkshire, VT) that is only 100 yards, but fun. Handgun, rifle, trap, skeet. Another at East Franklin, at the Alder Run Gun shop. Nice covered area and warm space in the shop. All shooters welcome. Full service gun shop. Has a fridge! Ring out and lets us know what's out there. |

The Lamoille Valley Fish&Game club is on Garfield Rd. right outside of Morrisville VT. They have 100 yard covered range with steel gongs going up a hill out to 168 yards out to the side. There's also a 100 yard uncovered range and 3 50 yard handgun areas. Skeet as well. You need a membership to shoot there but it's only $25 a year. |

Franklin County Sportsman's Club. located at: Maquam Shore Road, St. Alban's Bay -3 Skeet Ranges, 1 trap -indoor (basement of clubhouse) pistol range -3D archery range -25, 50, 100, 200 yd outdoor pistol/rifle range $20.00/yr membership, $250.00 lifetime. although prices may change for next year but im sure not by much. fun, friendly, casual atmosphere. |

For us Mass.  shooters, check the GOAL site.I'm a member of the Mass Rifle Association. Real nice place. Open 24/7. Never had any negative reactions from other members because I own a "black rifle". Reading Rifle & Revolver Club is also worth checking out as they have a 600yd range. It's a dues paying club but, there are hours during the week that it's open to the public. |
The range I belong to is right off rte. 106 in Perkinsville, VT. a Fish & Game club with an outdoor range. Is 50 meters out to 200 meters. (300m on Tuesdays) There's shelter over the the firing line. Also is a shotgun range and bow range on the property. Membership is required but is only $25 a year. I use it frequently.. It's not busy at all in the winter. I consider it the best time to go.  I even met a class III dealer/gunsmith there a while back. He was "testing" a few pre-WWII machine guns.. hehe. He was from Cavendish, VT.. Some guys on this site might even know him, as I think he's known throughout the country. I can't remember his name now though... |

Say, is Blue Trail down in Wallingford, CT still around? I used to shoot there years ago. Liked their 200yd range. The targets were up on metal frames that someone in the pits could raise and lower for you, to put a spotting disk on your target, or whatever... |

I may have met him, as I talk at the range as much as I shoot, but I'm horrible with names. Like you, I think I am going to be a Mass refugee moving to NH within the next year. Getting ready to sell my current place next summer and might as well move 10 miles north to Pelham or Hudson and not worry about all the confusing laws in Mass. It will mean more backroads driving to work, but will be worth it! The Firing line in Manchester is a great place, btw, rented the M-60 and MAC-10 there one day last year. |

It wouldn't surprise me if there's some sort of friendly feud between the two as to which one is actually the oldest. Probably something trivial such as which one was acknowledged or had an NRA sanctioned match first, which one actually broke ground or had an operational range first, etc. |

What gun club is behind Walmart/Dick's Sporting Goods in Attleboro? [Both stores are on the opposite side of Rte. 1, across from The Emerald Square Mall at I-295 & US 1.] I was shopping in that area on Thursday afternoon and there was a lot of gunfire coming from behind these stores, sounded like a police qualification shoot. Any chance that Angletree is back there? |
That was coming from the area of the reservoir on rt123 in So. Attleboro. That is town owned land that is used by local PD's to qualify. |

Hi I belong to Chester rod and gun in New Hampshire. We have pin shoots monthly outside on the pin range, from April til October. Can anyone send me so info on doing pins on the indoor range safely.
