I am driving through OKC in about 2 weeks on my way to Moab. I want to pick up some bulk beef for about 4 people for 3 days. The original plan was to buy in Amarillo, but options seems better around OKC. I am looking for recommendations based on price and quality. Does not have to be limited to OKC, anywhere along I-40 works. (I am using 95qt Pelican Cooler, dry ice is an option also.)
Thanks in Advance |

Thanks in Advance The best beef I've gotten in OKC was from Kamp's Meat Market at 7310 N. Western Avenue (405) 843-2455. Price is fair for the quality and the quality is very good. Give them a call. |

Here's a article in our local free hipster libtard artsy fartsy newspaper about steaks. They list a few of the "upper crust" (to them) meat markets, maybe it'll help. Sounds pretty pricey to me, but what do i know, I'm not even a member. Oh, everybody else click on the link at the bottom of the OP's OP. Yikes. |

Chef's Supply on I-240 has great meat prices and it is good quality. They beat everyone else IMO on price, quality and quanity. I actually was going to recommend this place,I don't have first hand knowledge of the quality of their meat but they have a good selection of bulk at decent prices. I was there today looking for lobster tails and found they had cases of tails. 6-7oz tails 10lbs for $192 , not too bad price but a lot more than I was looking for. Their meat section looked pretty well stocked. Just saying.... |

I think they also sell kitchen equipment, pots, pans, cutlery etc. Hmmm...I do need a 16 quart stock pot. That is a very small pot for a witch's brew! No worries, I'll save you a bowl with extra eye of newt, bat wings and lizard lips. |
