If any of y'all have wives, girlfriends, daughters or granddaughters who like shooting Sooner State (south) has a S&W M&P 15-22 in the "Pink Platinum" color. This color pattern, from what I read when I bought mine, was only released by S&W as a limited edition Talo exclusive. The Talo was also given the match grade barrel which up until recently were only in the Talo and a couple other special issue versions. S&W recently changed their online information to say all their 15-22's have match grade barrels...I have no idea what is what as far as that goes now.
The one at Sooner State is used and comes with some kind of red dot sight but I can't tell what it is from the picture. I'm sure you can haggle on the price but I love mine and everywhere I take it I have women who come over to ask about it and want one but they are very hard to find so if you know someone who would like one here's your chance! This is mine but the one they have is the same except for optics.

| It's either sold or on layaway. I went in yesterday and didn't see it. I probably would have bought the Crimson Trace laser they have in the case for my G27, if I could have gotten anyone to talk to me. There were two girls working the counter, one with a customer and one who had just finished with one and decided to answer the phone before talking to me. That's when I left. I can be ignored anywhere. Back to opticplanets.com I go! |
| At Sooner State?? They have a great reputation, I love them. Sometimes at the south store they get swamped but just give them a nod and they'll help you any way they can. You have to take into account they are a pawn shop and have to deal with window shoppers all day long that come in and leave without a word so if you need something you might have to ask. Try them again...the south store is generally more hectic because they have a smaller shop and more customers while the new north store is much larger and less chaotic. We've bought several guns and other things from them because they will do as much as they can to beat a price. |
| Yep. 59th St around the corner from work. I have no complaints about them. I was at the front counter so I wasn't out of sight on the side and had made eye contact with the girl who had just freed up. There was a guy in the back wandering around as well. I just think they should prioritize people in the store over answering the phone. It's not like I'll never go back. It just cost them a potential sale this time but I have no qualms about doing business with them. |
