So is seems my mom has to do the footwork to find a company that makes and installs security windows for offices.
Does anyone know a good reputable company that can make a solid plexiglass window that will not break? Her boss has made the mistake of having her look so she wants it her way

| Dealing with public is good. Something that at least wont break if punched or impacted. A hole at the bottom to pass money/IDs and stuff through. If you need dimentions i can get those later. Bullet proof would be best but i know the boss and he probably wont go for it cause im sure it costs more than impact/shatter reststant. |

You don't want Plexiglass or Acrylic, you want Lexan. Lexan will not break or or shatter like Plexiglass, Acrylic or glass. Your looking at probably $50 a square foot or more. Are there any shatter tests of objects being thrown/launched at it vs plexiglass? |

I've shot 22 long rifle at 1/2 lexan and it went right through it, but the lexan remained intact. Plexiglass will crack, break and shatter etc to some extent. Now if you want bullet resistant, I shot a piece of laminated 1/4" 1/2' 1/2" 1/4" lexan plastic that my dad got with a 12ga slug at 20 yards and the slug only went about 1/2 way through and made a big bubble on the other side. Pretty wicked looking. I don't have the piece to show you, it's at my Mom's house 4 states away.
