Ok guys here my deal.
I dont think me and security are agreeing anymore. My last heat and air job laid me off because of the season and there were only service calls and even then, they were few and far between. Last I talked to my last boss, he had one service call to spit between 3 journeymen. Business may have picked for him since, havent called him yet. What Im looking for is a heat and air job that offers a decent pay rate >$10.50hr. Only benefit I really care about is vacation time but others are a plus. Im not to concerned with probation period as I know that is usually 90 days, no big deal. Id prefer to stay in the city but nothing further north than Edmond, west than Yukon, South than Moore or east than Midwest/Del city, pay scale depending. For Now, within that area is fine. All Im doing is asking if yall have any leads cause I got nothing with online job searches unless I want to try to pretend to be a journeyman or act like I know how to do boilers. Im going to check with my school career guy this week and see if he has anything. If anyone have a lead, awesome! If not, dont worry about it. I know some of yall know people in the trades but I know trades jobs can be seasonal some years, not many people wanna build in the winter Not many people will kick on the AC with its 60, 70, 80 degrees outside, probably crack a window if there is a breeze. Thanks in advance. |
| LARman0311 There are billboard all over down here in your pay range but not that many heat air jobs. OK foods has all kinds of openings from their plant to field men jobs in your price range. I know that is further east than you stated but on the bright side there is more public land and lakes here than out there. And who knows some of these companies might could use h/ac person. Good luck with your job quest! |
