Yeh...at the theatre...I went to take a leak just as I thought the movie was going to get good....came back a few minutes later and the flic was more or less over...

I liked the Red Dawn remake ok...but that's it...it was just ok. I should probably add that I wasn't really all that impressed with the original 'Red Dawn' either..however the remake is definately 'B flic' class...it's an ok B flic..

A better movie to watch on TV than to sit through in a theatre..

True Grit was different, I expected to be really disappointed in the Remake, even though I had heard lots of compliments.  I was really surprised, I think the new version is better than the original, of course the original had to suffer from some really bad acting from some of the characters, Glen Campbell proved to everyone he couldn't act, and some other characters had the same problem.

I've always found it hard to get into remakes, especially remakes of cult classics.  They generally suck.

I enjoyed it. You can't compare it to the origional, this is a 2000s version of Red Dawn. Technology has come a long way since the 1st one, so I don't see it as a 'remake' of a 1980s movie. It was entertaining, theres gun shootin, stuff blowin up, N. Koreans gettin shot up....it was a entertaining movie.

John Wayne made the movie True Grit.
They had to edit out all the parts where he whipped up on all the renegade Indians because of the large number of left wing panty waist liberals so rampant in Hollywood then.
Of course in the remake Jeff Bridges kicked some Indians around. He'll never be John Wayne.

there are more liberals in hollywood now than there was then; but I will agree that jeff bridges isn't john wayne; because wayne was never as good of actor as bridges is
