Anyone ever used Oklahoma Hydrographics in OKC?  I just recently found out about them and all I know is they are a small shop but I don't of anyone else who does hydrographics in OKC.  Plus it's always nice to give the small guys some business.

That immediately stuck out as something you don't see often amongst gun people.  Not the best choice of words in my opinion.

Yeah...seemed excessive to me too but since I've never had anything dipped I wasn't sure.  Unless I can't find an alternative I might have to go there.  I read somewhere that Harsh was doing hydrographics but didn't see it on their website so I'll have to check with them.  Hopefully they aren't the same company.

The pictures on their website look great and I'm sure he does good work but those prices are killing me.  I have a few different guns I want done but there's no way to afford it there.  I think I'll have to pass and probably get one cerakoted.

why don't you try it yourself?

$60 is a little bit pricey, if you knew for sure you'd fail, but you miight do good.
here's a you tube of a glock, and it didn't explode!

Because it's hard and screwing up my gun would cost even more to fix than paying to have it done by a professional.  Oh, and I'm a chicken lol.

Just like that Japanese guy in the video....he followed the directions and borked that gun.  It looked more like tie dye than ACU.....

Edit: found another hydrographics place online with prices and they are almost exactly the same as the place in OKC so I guess that's the going rate.  Maybe I'll just get one done and see how it goes.  I'm thinking either pink skulls on a Glock or a pink and black tiger stripe Benelli M1.
