Anyone know the going rate for military issue MRE's? Just curious how much they compare to the civilian stuff.

Last time we got some civilian ones from MRE Star. They were $69.95 / 12 plus shipping... Not to bad at all

I've heard the EverSafe civilian MRE's are good.  I've never had any other than the military issue which weren't bad.

Depends.

Are they fresh?
How old are they really?
How have they been stored?
Ever been left out in the heat or sun?

Does the case have the inspection sticker on it? What does it say?

If your lucky and they are fresh then they are worth about $6 each. If you cant answer all the above questions $2-3 each. If they are old or out of inspection and questionable then they are best thrown away for everyones sake.

Cheese spread and crackers

Fister is right.  There are so many variables that knowing is almost impossible to know.  Once we busted open an old brown pack from like 96 (this was in 08), and all I have to say is the Charms were still usable but my buddy threw them on the ground and threatened body harm to me if I took them
