SB1055 - Clarifying the language for mental treatment in SDA applications (This prevents what happened to one of our veterans here) - Passed Veterans committee and will now head to senate floor. Rep. John Enns is my House author

SB1743 - Suppressor Hunting Bill. Passed Ag Committee and will now head to Senate Floor. Rep. Leslie Osborn is my House author.

SB1785 - Reciprocity Bill that covers states that have no CCL permit such as Wyoming, Vermont, Arizona and Alaska. Will accept state issued IDs from those states as an acceptable CCL carried under our state laws. Passed Public Safety Committee and will now head to Senate Floor. Rep. Leslie Osborn is my House author.

If SB1785 passes and becomes law I'd really like to see that one segued into our own citizens not needing a ccl to carry.  Thank you for your work, Senator.

Just read about this on OSA. The guy posting there said the bill cannot become law without a title and is a parliamentary game to make a vote more symbolic than anything.

So if the title does not pass the vote to restore the title, then I guess this bill is dead?!?! Hopefully Steve will clarify this.

I already have an amendment to restore the title on the senate floor. Either way it is very much alive at present.
