[Rant]... When I see people tear ass through an active school zone, it makes me wanna chase them down, tag their bumper, spin 'em out, rip them out of their vehicle and kick the shit out of them and beat them 3 ways short of Sunday? Ive learned over the last few years that it seems to piss me off to no end to see people, both young and old, blast through and active school zone, yellow lights flashing and all, and not even so much as tap their brake pedal to make it look like they give a rusty fuck about it.
Whether there are kids present or not, I see people fly through these zones as if they don't exist or they own the fucking road. Every damn day I see these fuckheads just cruise right along, sometimes even riding someones ass or even speeding up. They other day I had some asshat look to be within inches of my back bumper goin through a school zone, so what did I do? I didn't tap my breaks to tease him, I tried to put my break pedal through the floorboard so the fuckstick could figure out to GTFO my ass. I also seem to have to fight the urge to mash on my gas pedal to catch up with a douch nozzle who just flew through a school zone, roll my window down and yell at them about how fucked up and stupid they are. Shit pisses me off [/rant] |

No one really cares until an accident happens. Then they try to blame it on the other person for being there in their way. My pet peeve is parking lots. I see people flying down the aisles, yapping on their phones all the time at warp speed. They have no regard for anyone backing out of a parking place and could care less about anyone walking out from in between the cars.
My youngest son is getting ready to start driving and I try to teach him to always watch for the other guy. |

No ones gonna gee a f*ck until someones kid is killed by a fuck nugget trying out for the Indy 500

wait till you get pulled over and get warning for speeding in a school zone.
going 35 mph down 29th street through a school zone, flashing lights and all. i saw them, and ignored them. why? it was 4:00 pm on a sunday afternoon. officer said "sign says 25mph WHEN FLASHING" i'm gonna let you go with a warning. me > zipped lip. thank you, officer, sir. theres about $400 bucks saved for ammo. |

That gets some WTF. Along with numerous school zones here in the OKC area. It seems they just leave the lights flashing non-stop between 7a-5p. So you're telling me at 10a just because school is in session its gotta be 25 mph? There's not a soul outside walking! Whatever happened to just "Speed limit 25 mph when children are present"? |

It's called revenue generation. Tax revenue is down because sales are down despite higher prices. They have to make up the shortfall someplace. |

Simple speed bumps of the appropriate size can cure that. like the ones in the miller district (and other old parts of town) in norman; Goddamned speedbumps are approx 8" high, 6' wide and strech all the way across the street. If the speed bumps are wearing back packs, I'd say they aren't working too well....
