Its time. Its cooled off and season hasn't started yet. Lets do it.
LEX date to be determined Dripping Springs date to be determined WHAT I NEED TO SEE Day and DATE range that works for you. EXAMPLE - SAT or SUN with a date range of Now until Dec 17th. There will likely be grilling done at the range as well. So head count will be mandatory for food and drinks. Will pay for it by $$ donation. If to much $$ gets donated and all expense is covered then any proceeds will go to OK HTF T shirts to be given out at a similar competition shoot TBA. Its time to be social again people. We need to get outside.

dang, 3 hours from OKC? can't justify that long of a drive. Dripping Springs is a lot closer to the Tulsa guys if I remember correctly. Lexington is maybe an hour from downtown OKC, with traffic. Most of my weekends coming up are already scheduled. Right now the 16th, 22nd, 23rd, and 30th at Lexington work for me. |

lexington's severely trashed as of last friday.
on the north range, in addition to the normal microwaves and refrigerators, someone decided aresol cans of spray in expandable foam (ala "great stuff" )would make good targets. looks like the lame o 4th of july worms, just more staying power. had to weave my way through the debris field to get to 100 yds. |

Last month would've been geat. Where's the middle finger icon? Well, hell. All I can say is once a shooting buddy, always a shooting buddy. Here's to seeing you boys back here in a few years! We'll hit the range then!

remember hunting season cometh, with all that "sighting in" yearly trauma last year it was common to have em standing abreast almost to where you park. guys arguing "you shot my target...which paint can was yours" Then it will be that much more fun when a bunch of yahoos looking to have a good time show up and mingle with the fudds. |

I'll wear my flannel shirt and bring my armalite; people either side of me on the bench like the hell out of sound jimbond makes when fired .
figure most of them fudds don't wear ear plugs, the concussion will make them stagger around a bit. |

is there any place we could go that would allow some nfa brass rainbows there is a free state range north of taloga ok that has no rules and has a 30+ foot sand brem it a old sand pit that dot owns I could bring G3 G33 and ptr 32 and fun pack Sounds promising. |

Quoted: Are you referring to the one just on the north side of right pat the bridge Taloga right off the side of the highway? If so I cringe every time I see people shooting out there and I pass by. Call me crazy but the fact that the highway run right behind the top of the berm really bothers me, one bad shot and it could turn out very badly for a passer by.is there any place we could go that would allow some nfa brass rainbows there is a free state range north of taloga ok that has no rules and has a 30+ foot sand brem it a old sand pit that dot owns I could bring G3 G33 and ptr 32 and fun pack |
anything ever been decided on this; I was shooting off the back porch the other day and damned if I didn't even think of all my reletives that were deer hunting; about 15 minutes after I start shooting a couple of them come by to thank me for ruining their hunt
I laughed like mad and said something like "what the fuck ya'll hunting deer in the woods for, just sit in the kitchen drinking coffee and they'll come right up to the house, you just open the door and shoot them, sit back down finish your coffee, then put your shoes on and drag them around to the aframe" I've passed so many easy shots on nice deer up this year cause I'm just too damn lazy to clean one and too cheap to pay someone to process one for me .

Well crap! And here I am at work!! Haha Been getting in too late anyways to shoot when it's almost dark outside. That's why I like summer....21:00 sunsets I'm impatiently waiting for those.
You could go hunt something. I got some trigger time in the woods today. |
