I'm back you boobs. Got in at 0230 and up at 0530 to get in to work Damn, I'm tired
Didn't see any bigfoot (feet?). Saw lots of those stimulus signs at all the road construction sites on the way. 
It would seem that we are spending lots of $$$$$ to rebuild downtown Grand Rapids into some wierd copy of San Francisco  All kinds of dirty hippies out for some week long "art" show on the streets and in some of the buildings for the last week
Son lives in a newly refinished apartment in town that has an attached parking garage. Rent is $1600, city owns the parking garage and you get the honor of parking there for a measly $200 per month. Building is less than 50% occupied, hard to find people who can afford that much up there with the economy like it is.
I can't figure out those damn yankees. Can't get a decent sweet tea anywhere up there. Damn heatherns  Even had one metero-sexual waiter ask me when I ordered it "you must be from the south?" I resisted the urge to give him the bitch slap that he deserved (was getting the evil eye from the other half) and simply said "damn straight".

The other night when I was at my son's Sonic Brett Michael's tour buses came into the truck stop across the road. Two of the band members (from Virginia) came over to get some sweet tea. They had just left yankeeville and were headed to Texas and couldn't wait to get some proper tea. My son and I visited with them for a while and Matt comped them the sweet tea and some ice cream when they left. One thing that does wierd yankees out is sweet tea and fried okra. They don't really know about some of the finer things in life.
