Here's my latest antique acquisition:
I thought you might like to see it. I know it can't compare with your collection of velvet Elvis paintings. I know wash stands like that are common in Kentucky where only the uppity folks have indoor plumbing, but I got it for $25 at a garage sale and thought it was a deal. 
Probably manufactured around the 1920s to 1930s. |

The table I had there before it is worth about 4x what that wash stand is. That wash stand is worth about $100. It's probably not going to do down in value. I've got one small table that has been in the family since the 1830s. And no PC, I didn't buy it new.
