The newly installed 'Ignore' button found by clicking the 'edit profile'  tab.  You wouldn't think it was very useful, would you?

Very useful. I'd have never found it since I never go into my profile. My list did just get started with one "person"

ignore for what? IM's, replys?

ive heard alot ofpeopletalking about how great it is, but i dont understand what is blocks/ignores.

ETA: posting this will most likely put me on someones ignore list for asking a dumb question, but i don't really care

Why did Chuck ignore me?

I've never really been an "Ignore button" type of guy....

The way I see it, the only thing you are doing is bullshitting yourself into thinking someone isn't there when in fact they really are...and they're posting.
One thing I've learned in life is that you can bullshit others, but you should never bullshit yourself.

By placing someone on your 'ignore list'  you won't see their comments, replies, or posts.

Think I will give it a try.

Damn, guess you have to have the upgraded membership.

It's pretty nifty that it's retroactive too.

because you didn't act shy, coyly smile, giggle and wave with your fingers when he winked at you

Best part about the Ignore button is that it marks a member - if they screw someone, you can add them, but you still have the option to look at their posts.

Meanwhile, if you want a running list of all of the douche-nozzles, you've got to go no further than your friendly ignore list.

I don't do enough on this forum to use it - but I'm using it on at least 3 other forums.
