In this posting, Im not trying to sound like a cheap-skate or anything but why is it that the Defensive handgun tactics classes I have seen are rather expensive (it may just be my perseption due to a tight budget). I understand that in a self defense shooting the right training and knowledge will be priceless, but damn its expensive to obtain. With that said, does anyone know any certified Defensive handgun instructors that are less then $200 a day? Again, my tight budget may be the reason for the expensive perception so please, be nice.
Also, are there any within 10 or 15 miles of OKC..?

Some charge a lot, some do it for nothing. Give me a few months (I'm getting over open heart surgery) and I'll help you out with some pointers as a guest at the OKC Gun Club.
Unless you can get Chucks1911 to show you. He's a good instructor. (That is probably the only good thing you can say about him! )

I don't know about Chuck.  I tried to con him into teaching and SDA class for months....The rotten scoundrel never would bend on that issue.  You might be better off holding for Dans help with that class.  Don't get me wrong here....we love old Chuck but.......................

Just joking you up there Chuck!!!!

Well I already have the SDA class and the CCL, I just feel the need to take a tactics class. If there are any private folks that are certified that can do maybe some one on one that would be great also. Thanks for the input so far though.

I think you'll find more than one certified instructor here.
Good luck on your search.

You know I have been told you are one of the foremost instructors around.  You really should re-open for business.  I would consider breaking loose of cash just to hear some of your tall tales about fart machines and the like!

I took all the pistol classes they offer at H&H and was very happy with what I learned and the price. The cool thing about Will's classes (Will is the instructer) is that once you pay for the class you can take it over whenever its offered for a lot less $.
