ETA: Had to fix the type-O's Thanks for the welcome brother. I was born in Blackwell 30 nyears ago. Left when I was 5. Witchita, Las Vegas and then Phoenix, Az for most of my life. Moved back here a couple times but always ended up leaving again. I am home now though. Things are going great, the wife loves it here. The people are as good as ever and man...The greenery/lakes/ponds. Its good to be home!! Now I just have to find a spot to go shooting. Anyone know of good land to go plinking around the Deer Creek/Blackwell/Ponca City areas??? Thanks again for the welcome beakerello, I look forward to seeing you and all the other members around. 45W

Now would be a good time to warn you about the Indians in loincloths that lurk amongst us fine folk, searching for ammo, cigs and loose wimmenz. LOL  However, there are some very nice women here from time to time that would love to help you out should you find it difficult to shoot up any ammunition you may have that is ahem, in your way. I am just saying . . . BTW, welcome to the HT -- we can be a rowdy bunch from time to time, but the Beer Slayer has whips, and all kinds of kinky stuff (at least that is what I heard ) and he comes to play sometimes too, so it is all good!!

Thanks for the welcome everyone. Sounds like I will fit in just fine around here....lol  I will deff. be meeting you guys at one of your shoot's down the road a bit. And I will make sure to bring some extra ammo to burn with you guys/gals!!! I tried finding directions to the shoot but had no luck. My googlemapfu must be week????? How often do you guys have the shoots? Sounds like a good ol time. Thanks again for the warm welcome everyone. 45W |
we have shoots whenever we can throw one together, sometimes there's a bunch of us there, and sometimes only three or so, but we do waste a lot of ammo. click on the link wingman posted up in the other thread, the range we're shooting at today is fairly easy to find coming out of the okc metro, take I40 east to harrah newalla road, turn south to franklin (turns into new hope at county line) road, turn back east 1 mile and your at fishmarket, turn back south couple hundred yards and your there. |

Sounds good brother. I wont make it this go round. But deff. in the future! I hit the link and found the spot, just couldnt find what part of OK it was at. I am in the process of building another EBR. The wife is getting into all our EBR ,madness so I am pumped at building this one. Just hope she likes shooting it. If not guess I have another rifle. Win/Win

Thanks for the welcome Cacinok! Washington is an awesome place. But I was located in a terrible location for work  If I could have made the right kind of cash we probably would have stayed put. It snowed mid June, I could not F'ing believe it....lolBut I am not at all regretting leaving to come back to Ok. Its good to be back where it all began
