I inherited a Bushy AR in the "Post-Ban" configuration (no flash suppressor). Does anyone know of a gunsmith in the local area who can thread my barrel so I can attach a flash suppressor? Thanks!! |

Yes there are several in this area, but we are not permitted to tell you about any one that owns a business or discuss or point you to the correct person unless they are paying AR15.com money so that you can look at the ones above. If we do, it is now my understanding that we can get banned. I have just learned that, and 1 shott I will start being more carefull from now on. If you need work like that done, the correct person to ask would be 1 shott. We could be banned for giving you any information like that. Mark |

Sheesh. No what you cant do is advertise YOUR BUSINESS in the HTF unless you are a site sponsor. If you know of a gunsmith that does re blueing and someone asks, then let them know, hey so and so at this store does re blueing. nighthawk, stop trollling the board, if you want to advertise here then pony up, if not then I dont want to hear anymore about it. I fail to see why everyone cannot comprehend that site rule. It is not my rule it is the boards rule, I enforce it. |

guys the bottom line on advertising is this. Our sponsonsors/dealers pay a LOT of oney to be here to sell. It is not fait to make them pay and allow others to sell without doing the same. discussion of service or reccomendations NOT RELATED TO YOUR BUSINESS are just fine and frankly encouraged. Giving a guy a plug or tossing in a the one time good deal from another local company is fine. what is not ok ... blatantly advertising your business without a dealer account. making reccomendations for people to use your company without a dealer account advertising in your sigline without a dealer account posts which result in a direct profit for your company... ie advertsing shoots/classes where you will be paid. guys it's not brain surgery. these are the rules of the site and these rules have been in place for at least 5+ years. i am really getting tired of the stupidity amoung some peolpe in this forum. If you don't understand the rules just ask and we will try to explain them. If you don't like them, i am sorry but they aren't going to change. it's very simple folks. act like the adults we expect you to be or find a new place to post. |
