Therein lies the rub. You may or may not understand this but I have no "plan on violating the COC". Yet I must be constantly aware of them/it or I might just being myself. Instead of hiding who I am and what I think, I tend to say/show it. Personally, I wish that everyone was as open/honest. I tend to think that people who arent, are sneaks/liars/untrustworthy. You see I firmly believe that all rules/laws restrict my freedoms. I am also aware that as a society, we must have some rules/laws or we have anarchy. I just wish that we would always lean towards the lesser rules/laws is all. Did that make any sense at all? Just the ramblings of an old retired soldier

I am glad to hear you have no intentions of trolling the board. That will make my time here go alot smoother. Also keep in mind that the board is private property and as such the owners of the board can set forth whatever rules they feel are warranted. If a person does not agree to those terms, they do not have to post here, be a member etc. As for the all rules restrict your freedoms, to a extent, I agree, BUT with out laws to govern, there would be anarchy. I can assure you I have been open and honest with everyone, I believe you feel differently, but that is your opinion. |
1shott, Nothing in this is personal, so please dont take it that way. Man I have no intention of raining on your parade. I really did not think that I was. I honestly thought that others were. Hell, I thought I was taking up for long time/valued members and our own HTF. Never said I was perfectPlease dont tell me how I "feel". You have no idea. I dont think its germaine anyway. I agree that we are all entitled to our opinions. At least, I hope so. I am also aware of the whole private property thing. I am currently struggling with whether I want to continue to support/remain a member of something that would punish me for being me |
I believe we have this worked out in M, and I wont go into te details in public. Also I do hope you stick around, as well as others. Everyone just need sot keep in mind there are boundries when it comes to posting, that is all. Chcuk trust me COC stops me from posting my views on alot of topics. But I like this board and have gained alot from it, so I try to repay what I can and by moderatiing I like to think I am. This is also not my parade, if it was there would be giraffes. |
